William Kristol of the NY Times made an interesting suggestion this weekend. On Fox News Sunday, he put forth the idea if Hillary Clinton supporters truly wanted to make a visible protest against Obama and the DNC that they should place Hillary into nomination AGAINST Joe Biden as the party’s VP pick. While I don’t always agree with Mr. Kristol, this would be a genius move by any PUMA (part unity my ass) member that wanted to make a point. Unfortunately, if it worked, McCain would have a much stronger ticket to face in the general election.
The left side of the blogosphere is up in arms over the suggestion (see Crooks and Liars). It makes you believe that they are truly concerned that the actions suggested by Kristol could weaken the already weak Obama.
