I’m incredibly grateful that CNN has finally issued an honest look at Obama’s ties with unrepentant American terrorist, Bill Ayers, a member of the radical terrorist group The Weather Underground. While it’s been obvious to many that Obama has been less than honest about his relationship with Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn. The CNN piece looks closely at Senator Obama’s and Ayers dealings on the board of the Annenberg Challenge Project and a how Obama was aided by Ayers in his rise within Chicago politics as an outsider:
For Obama, the chairmanship of the $100 million Annenberg board helped vault him from a South Side lawyer to political player. And there, too, is an Ayers connection.
In 1995, months after the little-known Obama became Annenberg chairman, state Sen. Alice Palmer introduced the young lawyer as her political heir apparent. The introduction was made over coffee at the home of Ayers and Dohrn. Two people who attended the event told CNN the introduction of Obama included a solicitation for campaign funds.
